Frequently asked questions.
Straight answers about creation, rewards, communities and claims.
In this guide
Where do the reward tokens come from?
They come from the token’s initial supply. The creator reserves a disclosed percentage at launch. Winning the campaign allocates existing tokens; it does not mint extra supply.
Does the creator have to deposit SOL liquidity?
No initial trading-liquidity deposit is required by the virtual-curve model. Buyers supply real trading funds. Creation still has disclosed network, account and other applicable costs.
Does the KOL get the whole reserve?
The member-distribution design binds entitlements directly to eligible winning wallets. The organizer does not receive an unrestricted reward wallet. Any separate KOL compensation must be stated before participants join.
Are the tokens locked inside my wallet?
The unvested allocation stays in program-controlled custody. Your wallet is the beneficiary of a claim. When available tokens are transferred into your normal token account, you can use them; the unreleased remainder stays locked.
Does reaching the wallet target guarantee a win?
No. In the researched scoring model, the threshold qualifies a team. The final ranking at the deadline determines the winner. The campaign must publish its scoring and tie rules before entry.
Do members have to buy the new token?
The registration-based reference does not require a purchase of the new token. A campaign still has eligibility requirements. Introducing a new-token holding or purchase requirement would need an explicit rule and revised messaging.
What if the coin never graduates?
Under the proposed graduation-gated reward policy, an award can remain locked indefinitely. LaunchLab also gates its vesting collection on migration. A settlement-only alternative is a separate economic decision, not an automatic fallback. Read the launch’s exact release and failure policy.
Can the developer take the reserve back?
The required design excludes a developer withdrawal right over committed or awarded rewards. That protection depends on the actual program, custody and disclosed upgrade powers. A failed campaign does not automatically turn the reserve into developer tokens.
Is a reward worth a guaranteed amount?
No. Token amounts do not guarantee market value, liquidity, demand or price support. Graduation, locked liquidity and vesting do not create a guaranteed return.
Is the current launch screen an on-chain receipt?
No. The current creator saves local configurations and plays the complete launch UI sequence. It does not sign or submit a transaction. A real launch receipt needs a confirmed mint, reserve commitment and transaction evidence. The Sources & decisions chapter records that boundary.
